Georgetown on the Fukushima Anniversary: Seafood and radiation
Dr. Tim Jorgensen, associate professor at Georgetown University Medical Center talks about the safety of seafood as the five-year anniversary of the Fukushima disaster in Japan is upon us.
Dr. Jorgensen says, “Radioactivity levels that are found in these fish [that migrated to the U.S.] from the Fukushima reactor are levels that are way below the natural radioactivity that all fish have in them…”
