tuna sandwich with cauliflower and carrot salad
Last weekend we were in Texas for our baby shower. The food was delicious and featured a couple different types of fish, but I was too anxious to take photos. Thats because it wasnt just your typical shower. We also found out the sex of our baby, and our parents were the bearers of the big news!
Lloyd and I were both surprised and elated to learn were having a baby boy! Since Im one of four girls, the aunties-to-be are pretty excited too.
Since I was out of town (and spending all my free-time once I got back looking up ideas for baby boys room), were a little low on groceries. That means its another tuna fish Friday for me. I made my simple tuna sandwich on a whole wheat bun a little more interesting by serving this wonderful cauliflower and carrot salad I made a couple days ago on the side. Im hoping I left plenty of time between lunch and dinner to get very hungry again because tonight were headed up to Charleston, SC for a special dinner at Bon Apptit magazines 2011 best new restaurant, Husk.
