toast with tahini and sardines

I had Norway on my mind this morning because I saw the 2013 Bocuse d’Or competition is now accepting chef applications. The Bocuse dOr is the Olympics of the culinary world, and guess who consistently takes home a gold, silver, or bronze? Norway. To bring myself back to the land of talented chefs and the fantastic food they create, I made a simple Nordic breakfast of toast with tahini and sardines. The tahini takes a bit of a departure from Norway, I know, but I wanted something to spread on my bread and it worked as a nice nutty compliment to the sardines.
