skinny wahoo bowl @boldbajafresh
Im always on the lookout for the more nutritious fast food options. This weekend we stopped into @boldbajafresh for a quick lunch. Wanting something light and fairly healthy, I ordered the Skinny Wahoo Bowl. It was loaded with grilled mahi, black beans, lime rice, cilantro, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo and a few salsas (mango, avocado and crema). (I added the scoop of guacamole and handful of tortilla chips for a little extra crunch and creaminess.)
It was pretty darn tasty! A great lean protein, the mahi was seasoned and grilled well. The black beans, cilantro and cabbage provided close to 3.5 grams of fiber. And, the mango provided a good dose of vitamin C. At about 405 calories (with only about 6% of those calories from saturated fat), this dish was a refreshing break from fat-laden fast casual restaurant food.
