The Seafood Industry Research Fund (SIRF) Board of Directors will host its 8th Annual Benefit Soirée on Monday, 17 January 2021 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando. SIRF’s 8th Annual Benefit Soiree gathers industry leaders for an evening dedicated to seafood research and will kick off NFI’s Global Seafood Market Conference. 

To date, SIRF has provided $3.7 million for over 400 research grants resulting in the publication of approximately 400 related research papers, all publicly available. In the ever-shifting tides of the marine economy, SIRF seeks to fund developments in the pressing areas of nutrition, fisheries resource management, food safety technology and aquaculture.
