Its my last day as a Hawaiian resident. Our one-way flight to the mainland is tonight, and I thought Id wake up raring to go because we feel like we are ready. But I woke up sentimental and have been weepy all day. Even though weve experienced just about everything we wanted toeven though a lot of our best friends have already moved from Hawaiieven though we had a fun-filled sendoff weekend in Honolulu at the beautiful Moana Surfriderand even though we cant wait to be closer to family for Mini McGuires arrival this fall, it turns out that today is still a big emotional milestone. When we get on the flight tonight, the newlywed chapter of our life is comes to a close and we start to seriously write the chapter in which we become a family of three. Its thrilling, but bittersweet as well because this first chapter has been an incredible one. Here are some of my favorite moments…
