seared furikake ahi with mushroom pasta and edamame on #myplate

My good friend Katherine recently sent me furikake seasoning as a thank you gift. Yes, in my weird world, a Japanese condiment of sesame seeds, salt, sugar, and seaweed constitutes a fantastic gift.I couldnt wait to break in to it, so today for lunch I sprinkled some on a filet of ahi tuna that I quickly seared in a little hot olive oil. I popped an individually vacuum-packed frozen filet of ahi in the fridge last night, and it was ready to go today.Running with the flavors in the furikake, I heated some frozen edamame in a swirl of sesame oil.The mushroom pasta was leftover from a restaurant. So, a very low effort meal with very high flavor and satiety.
