Today Lloyd and I are hosting a Christmas Eve party, and Im so excited, I woke up at 4:20am. THIS is my version of a kid on Christmas morning. Last night we made one last run to Whole Foods for a handful of ingredients, and then treated ourselves to dinner at the Plumeria Beach House at the Kahala Resort while we were in the neighborhood. The Kahala is one of the most stunning places to stay on all of Oahu, and is gorgeously decked for the holidays. Last year Lloyd was halfway into his deployment on Christmas (click on candy cane #12 to read more), so Im even more appreciative than ever to have his hand sneaking into the shot of our delicious seafood sampler.
