Since Ive been in Texas, Ive been working from Panera, which is a delightful environment with some healthful and tasty food choices.However, on day six I really needed to take a lunch break elsewhere, so I met my parents at Chef Point Caf just down the road. I gave my mom a concerned glance as we pulled up because this fine dining redefined restaurant exists in a gas station.But she reassured me its a hidden gem and was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.I was surprised to see an extensive seafood selection and chose the salmon piccata.It was creamier and richer than any piccata Ive eaten, but of course, delicious.With the generous amount of veggies on top, I will probably get two more meals out of the leftovers.
