WASHINGTON, DC February 13, 2012 Susan Chamberlain helped build the Global Aquaculture Alliance from its beginnings as a family run start-up to the internationally respected body it is today.

Whether managing the office, helping organize the annual GOAL meeting or spearheading the evolution of the Global Aquaculture Advocate from a simple news letter to a full-color magazine and on line publication, Susan Chamberlain was an integral part of GAA.

The aquaculture world and the seafood community as a whole has lost a true advocate, whose work ethic and devotion to family were both reflected in her commitment to feeding the world through responsible aquaculture. Susan will be missed.
