Lloyd and I spent Saturday of our three-day weekend
exploring the North Shore of Oahu. Friday
was rainy and windy, and even though Saturday was perfectly beautiful, the waves were
still in storm mode. So huge,
tumultuous, and choppy, actually, that all beaches were closed to swimmers. But who needs swimming when simply watching
the waves is so entertaining? Here is a picture from Ehukai

To
fuel our wave watching, we grabbed lunch at Kua ‘Aina Sandwich Shop. Lloyd and I usually split in a situation like
this, but were both famished. So we each
got our own mahimahi with provolone cheese, chiles, lettuce, and tomato on whole wheat bread.
