National Investigation Exposes Fraud in Frozen Seafood Labeling
The National Conference on Weights and Measures reports on the preliminary findings of a national investigation into the net weight of frozen seafood. The investigation conducted in 17 states found packages that contained the weight of the ice glaze as part of the net weight of the product, a violation of federal and state laws.
