FDA Posts “Close-out” Letter to Illinois Firm
FDA has posted a close-out letter to Registry Steaks and Seafood Ltd, an Illinois firm issued a Warning Letter for frozen shrimp which included the weight of the ice glaze and/or marinade ice glaze as part of the net weight of the product. In the March 1, 2010, close-out letter, FDA concurred that the company has addressed the violations(s) outlined in the October 8, 2009, Warning Letter.
