I’m relaxed and rejuvenated after an absolutely lovely
weekend in Tahoe, CA. The
rocky peaks in contrast to the sparkling waterfalls and lake actually reminded
me a little of the Hawaiian mountains and ocean. I was excited to show Lloyd, but my camera
did no justice to the scenery. I’ve
officially decided to start looking for an upgrade.

Yesterday when I got home, my Marine and I ate an early
dinner at our favorite restaurant in Chinatown,
Little Village Noodle House. We split a few menu selections, including the
Singapore Rice Noodles with shrimp. Add
this entre to the list of excellent choices at Little Village.

After dinner, we went to the National Memorial
Cemetery of the Pacific. Again, my camera’s depiction of the gorgeous
and moving scene is almost embarrassing. It really was spectacular.
