grouper schnitzel with spaetzle and mustard caper cream sauce from @spicyperspectiv and @GBAsheville

I have been insatiably hungry the last few days, so dinner last night was a bit out of character buttery, crispy grouper (schnitzel) over pan-seared dumplings (spaetzle), all topped with a creamy mustard sauce.Despite my German roots, I rarely eat German food and dont think Ive ever attempted to make it.I tend to assume its too heavy for my taste. But at 9.5 months pregnant on a cold October night, it was perfect.I made a couple substitutions based solely on availability.Local grouper replaced trout and sliced green olives replaced capers in the original Red Stag Grill recipe.Everything tasted deliciously balanced between rich and a little acidic. After we finished eating last night, I found myself googling the distance from Beaufort, SC to Ashville, NC where there Red Stag Grill is located. Is five hours a reasonable road trip with a new baby??
