Im in San Diego this week for the American Dietetic Association Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo and got to quick work hitting up the recommendations in the conference dining guide.Yesterday we had drinks and appetizers at stunning Searsucker.These iPhone photos are a poor representation of the crab cake and tuna starters we choose.Both had a good kick, as did my watermelon and serano cocktail, which I love.Sometimes I think restaurants are a bit shy about heat, but not Searsucker.Tonight Im hoping to try Blue Point Coastal Cuisine, but for now Im off the expo floor for a little adult trick-or-treating.
