Yesterday and today were my last two days in the Washington office before I head back to Hawaii in the morning. I have officially been “off-island” for 32 days, so I really cannot wait to get home. Yesterday I had my stand-by office lunch for old-times sake –a quick and easy traditional tuna sandwich. Starting Thursday I’ll be back to working from home with access to a full kitchen for mid-day meals…though if history is any indication, the cupboards will be bare upon my return. So it might be tuna sandwiches for a couple more days this week!
