multi-grain sushi

As I was dropping my sisters off at the airport last week, I started to feel the slightest tickle of a sore throat. And sure enough, the rest of the week I was down and out with a sore throat, fever, cough, and congestion. Soup and juice sustained me through Saturday, when I finally felt well enough to go to the grocery store and get the ingredients for more substantial meals. I was so excited to see something beyond broth, that I picked up my first feeling-better-meal right then and there tuna nigiri plus tuna and avocado rolls. You might notice theres a little something special going on with the rice. Thats because Whole Foods has now started serving multi-grain sushi, which incorporates a mix of interesting ingredients including ground amaranth, millet, barley and soybeans. Its stickier than brown rice sushi, which can fall apart a bit, and has a nice mild taste that lets the fish shine.
