We spent the Fourth of July weekend with Lloyds family on the Kona side of the Big Island. I love Kona for so many reasons the black lava rocky coastlines, the cozy mountain coffee farms, the abundant sea life for scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing…And right up there with all the natural beauty, I love Island Lava Java, a delicious restaurant right on the waterfront.Monday morning I shared breakfast with Lloyds mom and sister at Island Lava Java while the boys golfed.I got the big kahuna fish breakfast, which featured fresh island ono, also known as wahoo.What a great way to start the day, which ended with a fireworks display Kailua-Kona Bay.Here are Lloyd and I before we headed out on the town…
