Last night we had our good friends over for dinner and decided to keep it simple with a mostly homemade meal shrimp and steak fajitas made with love by Lloyd and I plus rice and beans made with love by our local Mexican restaurant. I went with Paula Deens fajitas recipe, which is straightforward and nothing super special. But the best detail was to preheat a skillet to keep the fajitas sizzling hot when you serve them. This is a little treacherous, but as long as you repeatedly remind people not to touch the skillet, its worthwhile.
