albacore tuna melt
Ive been extremely fortunate to feel almost entirely normal (maybe even better than normal) throughout most of my pregnancy. The one, seemingly inevitable exception was weeks 8-11, during which I felt like I had a persistent hangover. I also completely lost my appetite, which, for me, is the furthest thing from normal imaginable. I hear that as I approach the third trimester, some of those first trimester unpleasantries may come back. This week, Ive gotten my first hint of it as a few less foods than usual sound appealing. Nutrition is so important right now, though, since baby is growing by leaps and bounds. So Im doing my best to identify the overlap between foods that sound good to eat and foods that are full of nutrients. A reliable go-to is a comforting albacore tuna melt, which I whipped up for lunch yesterday. Things would have to get really bad for this not to make my mouth water.
