Yesterday for lunch I had a bowl of salty, smoky, tomato-y sardine and green bean pasta. Some consider sardines super strong, but I consider them super flavorful, especially paired with tomatoes. A few ounces of the mini, silvery fish provide more than half your daily needs for vitamin B12, selenium, and vitamin D. They’re also off the charts in omega-3s and a good source of calcium.
