Tin Fish Gourmet
Today, one of my colleagues dropped by my desk to share a selection from her personal cookbook collection, Tin Fish Gourmet by Barbara-jo McIntosh. The more I flip through it, the lower her odds of ever getting it back become. As the description reads, “These mouthwatering recipes feature all your favorite canned seafoods; from salmon, tuna, and clams, to sardines, anchovies, and caviar. Includes delicious hors d’oeuvres, entrees, soups, salads, and sandwiches.” Nourishing food and convenience – two of my favorite things. I know I have a few pouches of salmon at home, so I’m currently torn between Swiss Chard and Salmon Lasagna and Curried Salmon Loaf for tonight. Eventually I will try both, along with many other easy, tasty recipes in the fabulous book.
