Crispy Indian fish

The good thing about having our new fancy camera is that we’re
able to capture the beauty of Hawaii
and all the seafood I eat there. The bad
thing is that it’s cumbersome and simply didn’t make the cut in to my luggage
on this particular trip. So you’re just
going to have to take my word for it that I ate seafood last night as part of
an overall amazing dinner at an Indian restaurant called Rasika. My friend and I ordered an assortment of
small plates, and here’s the menu description of the fish I chose.

durade

The spices in Indian food, including this fish dish, make me
swoon. I just can’t think of anything
better than spending a rainy night in Washington,
DC with a good friend and food
full of cardamom, cinnamon, and coriander.

More menu descriptions to come, because I’m headed to Denver for ADA FNCE today
and will be almost exclusively dependent on restaurants through Tuesday. Leave it to dietitians to include a dining
guide
in a recent issue of our trade magazine!
