steamed king crab legs
This week I’m on a whirlwind business trip with meetings in four cities. The schedule is packed, so fare like airport nachos (pleasantly tasty, by the way) is serving as our sustenance. Not a big deal for a couple days, plus I made sure to enter the trip nice and nourished. Over the weekend, Imade fresh steamedking crab legs at home. They have historically intimidated me a bit, but as is the case with just about all seafood, could not have been easier to make and eat. These came precooked from the seafood counter and simply needed to be heated through in a steamer basket over a pot of boiling water. The sweet chunks of meat were so huge, they were effortless to remove from the shell with just a regular fork. It’s uncertain if my tummy will see another healthful fish meal this week, but I’m going to try. Either way, I’ll be back to my normal dietitian ways next week.
